Who we are
FitNote is a UK service for private doctor's letters for work, covering sick leave and adjustments to work duties. It is operated by Dr Sick (DRSICK LTD), registered in England and Wales.
How letters are reviewed
You answer an online medical questionnaire. A fully qualified, UK-trained, GMC-registered doctor reviews your answers the same day and decides whether a letter is appropriate. If approved, the signed letter is sent by email and SMS.
What we don't do
- NHS fit notes
- We are a private service, not the NHS or a GP surgery.
- Automatic approval
- The doctor decides. Not every request leads to a letter.
- Choosing your own dates
- The doctor decides which dates a letter covers.
- Emergencies
- Call 999, or NHS 111 for urgent medical help.
- Absences over 6 weeks
- See your GP.
Every request is reviewed by a UK doctor.
